SMD2204 series - New multiaxis drive with Modbus RTU, CANopen, Modbus TCP/IP, EtherCAT, PROFINET

AEC s.r.l. is pleased to introduce its new multiaxis stepper drive. With the SMD2204L, a single drive can control up to three motors in vector mode with torque control. The drive permits a streamlined programming of each single axis, the management of digital and anlog inputs/outputs, besides the management via Modbus RTU, CANopen, Modbus TCP/IP,EtherCAT OR PROFINET protocol.

NEMA 11 stepper motors with integrated encoder

The range of AEC servomotors widens: Nema 11 flange model are available now.
Ideal for micromovements and format-changeovers, thanks to their compact size, the stepper motor series M28SH are equipped with terminal box, Push Pull or Line Driver encoders, and M12 connectors output.

The range of AEC servomotors widens: Nema 17 flange model are available now.

EB34 holding brake with M12 circular connector

The EB34 is an negative single disc electromagnetic brake, closed by a spring mechanism and equipped with NEMA 34 flange for an easy and quick mounting.
It is used for a dry run as an holding or security brake.
The new version with M12 circular connector permits to reduce wiring time and to eliminate connection errors.
